Quality Inn near Casinos and Convention Center

We left and weren't going to stay. On our 11/26/2025 check-in, the first room faced the freeway, so we asked to move. The next room was worse: a filthy, stained fitted sheet, unswept and unmopped floors, and food still in the fridge. Even the evening desk clerk agreed it hadn't been cleaned. Since we'd booked through a third party, a refund wasn't going to happen, though Shelby Sowell, the manager, could have issued one in a perfect world. I wrote to corporate, then learned Choice Hotel brands are individually owned. The representative did add points to my account as compensation.

I booked two nights, but the online pictures looked nothing like the room we got. It was so filthy that I couldn't bring myself to let my kids stay there. We packed up and left. After reading the other reviews, I really wish I'd checked them before booking.

I usually avoid hotels where the room door opens onto the parking lot. As an older woman traveling alone, I'm careful. This place turned out to be a safe, clean, nice little find, with courteous employees and a great location one block off I 20 in Bossier. I didn't see a single roach, spider, or other bug. The breakfast was great and so was the pool.

Breakfast was a nice bonus, and I found the room clean and comfortable. I'm in a wheelchair, and there was plenty of room to get around, including in the spacious bathroom. The woman at the desk was lovely, polite, and made check-in easy. All the women I met were kind and helpful, and I'd come back soon. One thing, the shower chair is too small and could use an upgrade.
