Clarendon Square

Room 1 had plenty of space, lovely decor, and was squeaky clean. We also appreciated all the thoughtful little details. The hotel is on a quiet, beautiful South End street, a convenient spot for exploring Boston. Stephen was helpful with tips and recommendations, let us check in early, and kept our bags for a few extra hours while we continued looking around. This was easily our favorite place during our travels across the US. We’d recommend it to anyone wanting a gorgeous, central, convenient stay.

Stephen was such a thoughtful host, always around when needed and full of good recommendations. You can tell a lot of care goes into this place. We spent four lovely days at Clarendon Square B&B, which is beautifully designed with a great eye for style and detail. Everything was clean and cozy, and the rooftop terrace was wonderful. Absolutely recommend it.

The building’s history and architecture, along with all the interior details, are breathtaking. Clarendon Square B&B feels like what a bed and breakfast should be: cozy, comfortable, organized, and welcoming. The owners were professional, prompt, and flexible. I had no trouble asking for early check-in, and the guest guide has plenty of information about cafes, activities, and happenings around the South Boston area. It’s a unique find, and there’s even a rooftop hot tub. I’d strongly suggest looking here for a relaxed, stress-free getaway.

I booked the queen room and had plenty of room for my things and to move around, plus a little sitting area, a desk by the window, and a comfortable bed. There were snacks, and the coffee was great, with pour-over instructions included. The place feels comfortable and homey, with lots of care put into the details. The rooftop deck and hot tub have 360-degree city views. It’s a lovely boutique property, within walking distance of Back Bay Station and plenty of good restaurants in the South End. I felt safe walking around. Stephen and Bobby were responsive and considerate hosts. I’ll book again, and again.
