Hampton Inn & Suites Boston Crosstown Center

We never felt unsafe, and I really appreciated being able to connect Netflix from our devices. My partner also enjoyed the war pool. The bed was comfortable and on the firm side, which I prefer. The hotel was clean and comfortable, and parking was only about a two-minute walk away. There were lots of sirens in the morning. It didn’t bother us, but it could bother light sleepers. The hotel provides earplugs.

The room was clean, breakfast in the morning was good, and the front desk staff were really kind. The TV didn’t work at first, but I adjusted the HDMI cord and got it going. I didn’t use the amenities, and there was a bit of noise outside. There were unhoused people nearby, outside the hotel area, but they weren’t causing trouble and security was there. I walked from the garage to my room around 1 a.m. and felt safe. There’s a hospital close by, so people were coming and going from the garage all night, which explains some of the activity. I felt comfortable during the stay.

The host at the front desk was friendly and knew the place well. The rooms were clean, and we had a good stay. I didn’t use the amenities. The only trouble was the sirens and plane noise. Earplugs were in the room, and my wife and I both got used to the sound.

The neighborhood was the main downside. There were a lot of unusual people around the hotel and hospital, and it made the area feel a bit unsettling. The hotel itself, though, was very clean, with friendly staff, a satisfying breakfast, a spacious room, and a comfortable bed. Getting around was easy by bus, and line 1 goes straight to Boston Common. I had a good stay and would recommend the hotel for its comfort and amenities, as long as you’re aware the surrounding area may feel a little sketchy.
