The room was clean and comfortable, and I loved having a bathroom heater. Jonathan was especially great, kindly bringing me a pen late at night when I needed one. I had a good stay at the Hyatt in Seaport and would come back, but probably wouldn't bring my electric vehicle. Breakfast was a letdown: watery, flavorless eggs, limited choices, and tiny bagels. I chose the hotel partly because I was told it had fast Tesla chargers, but there weren't any Tesla chargers and the available charging wasn't fast.
The room was just right, and breakfast was delicious. The gym and lounge were quiet and clean too. I stayed during my bar exam week, and this was easily the best Hyatt I've stayed at. The staff were extremely friendly, which was refreshing given the location. I'd definitely come back.
The room was spacious and comfortable, breakfast was good, and the elevator was smooth and quick. The hotel is near the water, bus stops, and a few places of interest. A very nice experience, with no complaints from me.
The airport is very close and convenient, which is the hotel's one real advantage. Sightseeing is a different story: getting to Boston's main attractions takes about as long on foot as by public transit, making city trips frustrating and time-consuming. For the price, the value is poor, and I have no interest in returning or recommending it. The hotel feels more like a student dorm than a property from a known chain. Interiors are outdated and basic, more like a two-star hotel, with tasteless minimalism and a sense that everything from furniture to service was done as cheaply as possible. There's no comfort to it. Breakfast means 15-20 minute waits, but the food quality and selection are baffling. You get one apple per person, green unripe bananas, and canned fruit with an unmistakably spoiled taste. The hot dish that resembles scrambled eggs seems to be made from powdered eggs based on its taste and texture. Potatoes are greasy, deep-fried, and bland; yogurt is the cheapest kind with basic cereal. The baked goods are stale rolls and just one kind of dry, tough croissant that hardly seems fresh. The coffee is warm, light brown water with no aroma or flavor, among the worst hotel coffees I've had. Tea is the only mildly positive thing, probably the hotel's best offering. Unfortunately, that's where the positives end. This hotel doesn't meet expectations or the standard associated with the brand.
I've been here twice, and both stays exceeded my expectations. The rooms are roomy and comfortable, with a great atmosphere, and breakfast was good. I also liked the lobby water refill station, a small environmentally friendly touch that many hotels don't offer. The room didn't have body lotion or a safe, which surprised me. Still, it was a good experience and I'd stay again.
