The hotel was hosting a convention, and you could see the staff were overwhelmed. We arrived around 8 PM after a drive of more than seven hours from Southeastern Pennsylvania, expecting a 4 PM check-in, but our room wasn’t ready. It took another hour to get keys. At least the staff and other guests were pleasant and considerate. The only parking option was valet at $65 a night, which I later learned was fairly reasonable for Boston. The place is gorgeous but confusingly laid out, and it took us a while to figure out where things were. There’s a lobby bar, an Irish pub-style restaurant, a breakfast buffet for $32 per person, and a gift shop where a bottle of water costs $8. Our overall stay was positive, though expensive. Things around the Seaport seem to close early, so there didn’t seem to be much nightlife. If you can afford it and want a classy home base for a Boston trip, it’s not a bad choice. When we pulled up, it was clear this place was way too classy for our little family, and at least 7,000 people seemed to have swarmed the lobby to check in at once. The drive through Connecticut had also left me convinced no one there knows how to drive. I’ve seen serial killer confession tapes show more empathy and respect for other people than the drivers I ran into.

The room was great, but what really stood out was the in-house virtual personal trainer, ALANA LEGER wellness. Having a guided, high-quality workout available right in my room or in the fitness studio felt like a luxury. Such a thoughtful and fun amenity, and I can’t wait to come back. The hotel is also in a wonderful location, with lots of great restaurants, shops, and the waterfront within walking distance.

We had a lovely family staycation, and we’ll definitely be back. The beds were so comfortable and the views were wonderful. We enjoyed the pool, and ro ro was great at check-in while Otto helped with our bags. We appreciated how kind everyone was and the attention to detail during our stay.

David at the front desk was especially amazing, and my stay was much better because of him. The staff were the most professional, attentive, and friendly I’ve encountered at a hotel. We ordered room service that accommodated a gluten allergy, and they called us back out of genuine concern to confirm the details and make sure they got the order right. That’s never happened to me before. Thanks, David!

The gym has baybrokms with showers, soap, shampoo, and warm towels, all clean and well stocked. The room was clean and amazing, and the service was top-notch, especially considering how busy it was with a convention. The employees were helpful and on top of things. With how much the Seaport district has been built up over the last few years, you can’t beat the location. Best hotel in the district now.
