Darla in the breakfast area made us feel right at home. She’s the best, and we loved her. At checkout, the morning desk clerk was very pleasant, too. The woman working the front desk when we arrived at night explained that we weren’t getting our points and helped me get us back on the points system. Those two front desk shifts made this the best Holiday Inn I’ve stayed at.

When a late-night booking at another place fell through, the front desk clerk helped us tremendously. I’m sorry I can’t remember her name, but she was courteous and understood our situation. The whole hotel had a friendly, positive feel, from the other desk staff to the cleaners and breakfast workers. I’d definitely stay again if I’m in the area.

The room was small, but the clean space, comfortable bed, and especially the warm, fresh, tasty breakfast made up for it. The staff were wonderful and friendly, and the location worked well for restaurants and stores. We’ve stayed at Holiday Inn Expresses across Europe and in several US states, and this was the best one we’ve visited in the US. We’ll be back to BG and stay here again.

We stayed overnight because my sister-in-law, my niece, her mom, and I were going to the cheerleaders’ championship at Danville High School the next day. The motel was really clean, and breakfast was amazing. I’d definitely recommend it to anyone traveling.
