Bozeman Inn

The room smelled of urine, especially the floor, and I couldn’t get away from it whether I sat at the table or lay on the bed. Fix that and this would be five stars. For a 2-star place, it was quite decent otherwise. Many businesses and restaurants were within walking distance, and it was far enough from the street that constant traffic wasn’t an issue. The room was clean enough, and the queen bed was comfortable with new pillows and bedding. That soft fuzzy blanket was awesome! We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

After six months there, I was out of my room in ten minutes, and I have a video to post showing how clean it was. I’d been staying here for a while because I work overnights and had trouble finding places in Bozeman. They accommodated my schedule, so I tried to show my gratitude by cleaning the room during the nights I was awake. I told the staff, but a housekeeper who didn’t speak English kept coming into my room despite the do not disturb sign. That led the owner to want to inspect the room. When she arrived, it was immaculate, but she was already too angry to let it go and said I couldn’t rent another week because I was gross. This place had been great and the price was good, and I treated them well. I’d also seen questionable people they rented to smoke in rooms and let their animals pee and poop everywhere. Three times during my stay they had to rip out carpet, repaint, and practically cleanse a room in fire. Don’t stay here, it’s too risky.

I was glad I stayed here without reading the negative reviews first, since none of them seemed true to me. It’s an older hotel, but the rooms have all been remodeled and were very clean. Check-in was quick, there are lots of restaurants nearby, and the interstate is easy to reach. The mountain view is killer. Thanks for a clean room at a good rate where everything works. I’ll definitely stay again.

A decent little place, clean and free of bugs or roaches. My room did have a lingering smoky smell, though, which could be a problem for someone with Asthma.
