The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the kitchenette was a real plus since breakfast isn’t offered. There’s free coffee, plus convenience foods you can buy on site, and the fitness room was available. The staff were friendly and helpful. The lobby is being renovated, though it wasn’t too disruptive.

For a longer stay, expect to buy some basics at Walmart. The kitchen suites come with only two of each eating utensil, and the provided utensils are about as cheap as they come. A dishwasher seems pointless with just two spoons, plates, and cups. That space would be better used for a microwave and oven combo, or just an oven, instead of a full-size dishwasher that hardly gets used. The towels are new, but they feel like sandpaper or concrete, and the toilet paper is rough one-ply. Management should put shampoo, conditioner, and soap in refillable wall dispensers instead of providing tiny disposable bottles. Having a washer and dryer in each room is great. The TV setup is dated. The cable channels keep failing, and there’s no option for guests to sign into their own streaming accounts. Netflix is the only login they allow.

The room and bathroom were spotless, and we slept well in the comfortable bed. There was a lot of traffic noise all night, even though we stayed on a Tuesday, but we were so tired that it didn’t keep us awake. We stopped for one night on the way to Boise with a moving truck and car carrier. The ample parking was a relief, and the location felt reasonably safe. Having a full-size fridge and freezer was especially handy for keeping our food cold and refreezing our reusable ice bags overnight.

The women at the desk are so friendly and accommodating. I love the modern studio apartment feel of the rooms, with a sofa and a full-size fridge, plus a built-in microwave, dishwasher, stove, cookware, and toaster. There’s a grocery store across the street, too. No powdered eggs for breakfast here, but I get to cook mine the way I like them. I’d better go, I just remembered the ice cream in my full-size freezer.
