I booked at the last minute and was pleasantly surprised. It was the most affordable room in town, and I worried that might mean a disappointing stay, but the hotel exceeded my expectations. The woman at check-in was so kind. I liked the retro look, and the room was very clean and comfortable. The white noise machine helped me sleep well, and the shower had great water pressure. The location is fantastic, within walking distance of lots of restaurants and entertainment. I'd definitely stay again and recommend it to family.

We chose this place as our base for a once-in-a-lifetime Montana trip to Yellowstone Park, and I'm so glad we did. I loved the decor and the newer features, and the laundry area was the nicest I've ever seen in a motel or hotel. The staff were great.

We stayed midweek in February 2026, and the place was sold out. There's a reason: it's clean, convenient, and a great value, with friendly staff. Food trucks are across the street, and it's close to both the freeway and downtown. Downtown isn't quite walkable, but several food options are.

We stayed in the two-room suite with our big family. It was comfortable, clean, and close to some great places to eat. Great vibe, and especially good for the price. We did wake up without hot water, but the staff worked hard to fix it and made it right. Highly recommend.

The Sapphire Motel feels like our home away from home in Bozeman, and we stay here often. The service is always friendly from check-in through check-out. I love the lobby's nostalgic feel. It's warm, clean, and inviting, and reminds me of my childhood. There's a great selection in the coffee and tea room, plus tables where you can eat dinner from the food trucks across the street. The room art is fun, the beds are incredibly comfortable, and everything is spotless. We love bringing family here to enjoy the service and throwback atmosphere too.
