SpringHill Suites by Marriott Bozeman

This SpringHill Suites is toward the lower end of the ones I've stayed at. The rooms were nice and large, with the usual couch and sitting area, and they seemed clean. Staff were polite, and the smart TVs came with free HBO Max, which was great. A few things let it down. Parking costs $15 a night, which feels excessive for a location outside the city. Our tub and shower looked really old, and the faucet and shower head weren't in great shape. Water pressure was mediocre, and it took at least five minutes of running the hot tap before the water actually warmed up. Breakfast was really dismal, even by the low standards of free hotel breakfasts in the U.S.

Our flight got cancelled, so we ended up with a room at this awesome hotel. The rooms were huge and very clean, and the pool and hot tub were clean too. Breakfast was great, especially the hot chocolate, which was my favorite. Ryan did so much to help us during our stay and even got us two pack n plays for the kids. He's a five-star employee. We're so grateful!

There was hardly any hot water, so my 5:30am shower was cold. The HVAC in our room was faulty, and the temperature swung between 70 and 85 all night. I barely slept. Breakfast was 'meh', and the scrambled eggs were more like soup. Yuck. Very disappointing stay. I doubt I'll ever set foot here again.

Staff were helpful, and the rooms were clean. The toilet sits low, so it can be hard to get up and down if you have knee trouble or limited mobility. They charge $15 a day to park in their lot, and I can't see a reason for the extra fee beyond making more money. If you're in town for a few days, I'd recommend visiting the local Alpaca and Llama farm. We had a blast.
