I love this spot at 316 North Bay Blvd., Anna Maria, FL. It’s set up well for family get-togethers, with pavilions, picnic tables, and grills. Get there early if you want a pavilion, though, since they’re first come, first served.

We had a great time here with the whole family. The sand was soft and the waves were nice. The water looked a bit cloudy and there was some seaweed, but that comes and goes.

The views alone make this beautiful beach worth visiting. Shopping nearby wasn’t the best, though.

The parking is a disgrace, and there’s so much honking. Plenty of visitors seem unable to drive, then act like they live on the island despite showing the opposite attitude. I’d say don’t go to Anna Marie Island. These were the worst beaches I’ve ever seen.
