Comfort Inn Bradenton, FL

After six days, we’ve just checked out, and this was the best hotel we’ve stayed at. The room was spacious and clean, the property was beautiful, and the people were so friendly. If we’re back in the area, we’ll definitely stay again.

Thursday we found an extra $150 charge for smoking in the room, which we absolutely did not do. We’d stayed Monday after a long move from GA, and the room was clean. I gave the ugly little hotel the benefit of the doubt and slept well for eight hours before checking out the next day. When I called, the receptionist said the manager wouldn’t reverse the charge, though I could call back tomorrow if I wanted. This cheap little hotel seems to be trying to make more money by lying. I wonder what kickback the manager gets for claiming something we frown upon. Call our CC ASAP. You’ve lost a guest for sure.

When we first went into the room, there were 4 roaches running around. I told the front desk, and they moved us, but the new room had 2 more running across the floor. I spoke to Nick Patel about it, and he was very rude and nasty, saying he’d call the cops because I reported the roaches. I killed them, and the picture below shows them. First time at this property, and I’d say don’t EVER STAY HERE.

We tried the pool for the first time this year, and it was clean and pleasant. The free continental breakfast is pretty decent, and the location is great. We’ve been coming to this area for years and always stay here. The rooms are consistently clean, and the service is courteous. They never disappoint us.
