We found bugs scattering from the sheets and suitcase, strange smells, and mysterious stains on the walls and carpet. There was spoiled milk on the windowsill, too. In the elevator, drunk guests got right in our faces to say, “It's a shitty hotel in a shitty town!” Employees were drinking with friends at the bar and mocking us. If you can overlook all that, the price might seem fair. Aside from that, we had a great stay.

The room we were shown was supposedly one of the best, and the man at reception said reservations don't guarantee a room because they give them to whoever arrives first. We had booked a king bed, but got a double, and the place smelled bad and looked dirty. Our room had a filthy carpet, an unmade bed, musty, sweaty-smelling sheets and blankets, and visible mold on the ceiling. There was a pipe through a hole above the door for heat. We had our 8-month-old son with us; luckily, the room had a bathroom, though its shower was dirty too. The front desk guy seemed unsure what he was doing and said the city was trying to shut the place down. I can see why. We stayed just long enough to find another hotel, returned the key, and left. The online photos looked great, but didn't match what we found.

The downtown view was great from our big room, and we liked having a huge TV with Roku and windows that opened. It was quiet, and we felt comfortable the whole time. Even arriving very late, we were treated with respect and kindness. Everyone was friendly and helpful, and checked that we were satisfied. For what we paid, we really can't complain. If you want the Hilton, pay for the Hilton. We'll be back, count on it! D&T

The online photos bore no resemblance to the hotel, which had an awful smell both inside and outside. I had booked and paid by credit card through Booking, and came with my wife and children. This is definitely not a place for a family to stay. They wouldn't cancel the reservation or refund my money, even though I didn't stay there. At 11 at night, I had to find another hotel that cost at least three times as much. I want my fee back.

The price looked almost too good to be true, and I found out why. I booked for a work stay from April 6-11. There were no beds in the rooms they first showed me, and they were barely made and not clean. The shared bathrooms had bed bugs and roaches crawling around. I eventually got a tiny box of a room, but the bed wasn't made and had urine and blood stains. I had booked a private bathroom, but none of the rooms had one except a top-floor room that looked like it hadn't been cleaned in 10 years. That room had no bed, and the walls were rotting. It's worse than it sounds. DON'T STAY HERE!
