Lost Lake Lodge

We left Lost Lake Lodge feeling refreshed and grateful, and already want to return. The cabin was lovely, clean, and comfortable, with a nice balance of rustic character and modern touches. It was peaceful to wake up beside the lake and sit by the fire at the end of the day. The views, wooded paths, and calm atmosphere made the whole property feel like a proper lakeside retreat. The meals were fresh, flavorful, and thoughtfully made. Every interaction with the staff felt personal and kind; they seemed to care about making our stay a good one. Lost Lake Lodge was peaceful, well kept, and full of heart, and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for natural beauty, comfort, and attentive service.

We booked four nights after I found Lost Lake Lodge in a Google search last year. The website caught my interest, and when I called, a friendly, engaging young man answered and knew the resort well. On arriving this year, my wife and I were struck by the peaceful setting, lovely grounds, spacious clean cabin, and beautiful lake views. The staff were wonderful throughout. We've been coming to Nisswa for years, but had started to lose enthusiasm for our old place because of its high rates. In early September, the prices at Lost Lake Lodge for such nice accommodations were exceptional. We booked next year's stay at the front office before leaving, and I'd highly recommend the lodge.

We found this place on Airbnb, but next time we'll book directly. There was loads of room where we stayed, and the beds were super comfortable. We came as a group of guys for a men's outing and are already planning to bring our families next time. Dinner at the on-site restaurant was so good that we went every night. Jonah was an awesome bartender and server. We also booked a fishing trip with Walleye Dan, whose name was in the cabin booklet. It was great, and I caught the biggest fish I've ever caught.

Lost Lake Resort, thank you for such a wonderful visit. We were there in late November, and walking into the lodge felt like stepping into a Christmas movie. Between the live music, decorations, and cozy atmosphere, it had such a warm, wholesome feel. The local guests and staff seemed close, and that sense of connection made it feel like a family. Everyone I met was kind, friendly, and accommodating. Our cabin was gorgeous, much bigger than I expected, and had everything we needed. The lake view and quiet natural setting were beautiful. Thanks to Jonah for the great drinks, Tony and Alex in the kitchen for the food (I'm still thinking about that Cajun Penne), and Becca for her warm smiles and lovely service. I arrived late and missed the check-in attendant, but my friend had only good things to say about her. There were a couple of big group events while we were there, with not many staff working, but they handled the rush gracefully and jumped in to help each other without being asked. You could see how much heart they put into caring for guests and one another. It was my first visit, but definitely won't be my last. I'm looking forward to coming back, and would love to see it in summer for a boat ride or in fall when the leaves change. There's something for everyone here, and I left feeling peaceful and refreshed.
