Just a terrible stay. There was hair all over the bathroom, bed, shower, towels, sink, and freezer. I’m bald, so I know it wasn’t mine. There was dust in the bathroom too, and the coffee pot was dirty, so I passed on the coffee. There was no shower gel either. In the morning the fire alarm went off and we were told to evacuate, but it turned out to be a false alarm. I signed up for rewards at check-in and feel there should be enough points in my account for a free stay at another property.

The workers were very friendly, but the online photos were misleading. Even the hotel lobby entrance gave a preview of the rooms: dirty, messy, and poorly kept. My room hadn’t been vacuumed, there was dust everywhere, the decor was outdated, and the shower was rusty with a yellow ring inside. The hotel felt more like a motel, and the quality was very low. If you want somewhere clean and orderly, you’ll be disappointed. It needs major improvement.

We drove all the way from Virginia with my family, and the first thing we saw while taking our bags in was police kicking someone out. The staff were nice, but cleaning was clearly lacking. Our first room had a disgusting couch with dog hair stuck in it and what looked like pet stains soaked into it. There were white stains on almost everything, the floors hadn’t been vacuumed, and counters and tables hadn’t been wiped. The sink was broken. They moved us to another room, but it was no better: dried blood on the bathroom floor, hair in the shower, and what looked like pipe mesh in the window seal. We told management, and nothing was done. The only repair was the toilet, after it had been clogged for about two hours. Save your money and don’t stay here.

I asked for a quiet room, but got one that was filthy and right beside a whole party. The room phone didn’t work, so I had to go back to the so-called lobby and tell the front desk clerk that there was coke all over the furniture, or whatever that white stuff was. They did move me, but it was so late that I just wanted to sleep. I couldn’t, though: I was on the first floor and the people above me walked and talked all night. It was crazy. There was also a hidden space in the cabinet that led to God knows where, so I blocked it with chairs and coffee tables because I didn’t feel safe. Don’t come here. There’s a Best Western and a Hampton Inn next door. I don’t know what their rooms are like, but anything has to be better than this. I wouldn’t recommend this place at all.
