I had to keep calling or going to the front desk because the shower water was cold and I had to ask them to turn the hot water on. The room key also kept failing, and I had to call repeatedly to get housekeeping to clean the room. Worst place I've stayed. Don't waste your time or money.

The rooms are beautiful and feel like home, with a kitchen table, a refrigerator/freezer, and a microwave. There's also a pool, jacuzzi, and washer and dryer. I love the place and the pretty shower. I'm in love with this hotel and will rent here for two more weekends.

There were roaches, dirty sheets, and while I was checking the room, a baggie with drugs in it fell out of the bedspread or sheets. We asked to move to another room and were rudely refused, even though there were only three cars in the parking lot. We then asked for a refund since we weren't going to stay, and were turned down rudely again. We were exhausted, so we slept in our car and lost the $130. I stayed here six years ago and it was super nice, and the staff were great then. It seems like there's new ownership now, and it shows. This is no cool motor lodge. You're better off sleeping in a parking lot. Don't waste your money, just book somewhere else.

I spent a whole week here during Hurricane Milton, and they kept the power on the entire time. That was wonderful. The young man at the desk managed to get me one of the last rooms, a smoking room, but by the end of the week I'd made it a nice place to sleep. The tiled rooms have new showers and comfortable beds, and pets are allowed with a deposit.
