Emrose Luxury Cabins

We ended up leaving early, and luckily Airbnb gave us a partial refund. The owners wouldn’t refund anything themselves. The heater failed during the night, so my boyfriend couldn’t sleep or get it working. We followed the instructions, but the owners just said it worked and that we were using it wrong. The hot tub was far too hot when we asked them to have it ready, hot enough that it could have burned us. There’s no way to adjust the temperature except by adding cold water. Don’t waste your money. Listen to the bad reviews.

The scenery is alright, I guess. It looks cool, but leaves something to be desired. The heat pump was awful and I froze through the night. The hot tubs use wood fires, so you can’t regulate the temperature. I never got to use mine because it was much too hot, and I didn’t want to keep checking every 30 minutes to see if it had cooled enough.

The view is poor, and the cabins are packed together like a parking lot. The place feels cheaply and quickly built, the opposite of luxury. There’s one space heater at the opposite end of the room from one bed, so either the person in that bed gets far too hot or the rest of the cabin stays cold. The wood-fired hot tub was cold when we arrived, but it can easily become too hot, and there’s no way to time when it’ll be ready. It’s way overpriced, and I wouldn’t recommend it. The owner was extremely defensive and rude when the review wasn’t what he wanted.

After driving 7 hours, I got a room that was 50 degrees with no heat or hot water, so I couldn’t even take a hot shower. I was treated like a nobody. They offered me another room 2 hours after I’d settled in, then begged me for a 5 star review and refused to give even a partial refund. See how the owner treats you when the room has no heat or hot water.
