Homewood Suites by Hilton Tampa-Brandon

I’ve got over 300k points as a corporate client, but the microwave in my room was completely dead. I was told the front desk would have it checked the next day. Three days later, nothing had happened. I asked to move rooms. Most of my coworkers got two-room suites, while one other person and I were assigned studios. That wasn’t a big deal by itself, but the microwave was. They offered to put a tiny, college-dorm-sized one on the small table until the head of maintenance could supposedly come the next day. At first I was told no rooms were available. Corporate guest services, though, was told it was because I’d be here for two weeks. I wasn’t happy with how this was being handled. My company books 8-12 rooms whenever we travel, and I planned to tell our corporate reservations representative we shouldn’t use this place again if this is how long-term guests are treated. Update: Ms. Patricia, a manager at the property, contacted me this morning. She listened closely and with empathy, understood how the situation had been handled, and apologized for the misunderstanding and inconvenience. She said she’d work on a solution right away, then called me back with one within 30 minutes. I really appreciate her effort to put things right. Her professionalism and customer service deserve recognition. I’m changing my service and overall ratings because of what she did. Thank you, Ms. Pat. 🙏🏾

Gabe went above and beyond at check-in and answered all my questions. I travel a lot, and this Homewood Suites is one of the best places I’ve stayed. It’s well worth the money, with really good breakfast. Whoever cooks it, I hope they get a cool pillow and never step on a lego. The hotel is very clean. The elevator is a bit old, which is about my only complaint. Housekeeping came every other day and took real pride in the job: my room was neat afterward, and they even washed and put away my dishes. The cuck couch is great too. I came here after staying at another hotel and wish I’d picked this one from the start. Great hotel!

Patricia, Ishia, and Zayne deserve a shout-out for their personal touches and good service. Breakfast at Brandon Homewood Suite’s was the best I’ve had, with hot options and lots of other tasty food. I’d never seen guacamole or chia pudding at a hotel breakfast before. Since I try to eat healthy, those made the experience even better.

The breakfast was probably the best I’ve had at a hotel. No waffles, but I didn’t mind. I had a burrito with delicious chicken carnitas, and overnight oats too. I wish we could stay longer. The staff were amazing: a gentleman checked us in and gave us a really nice room, and the morning team were sweet and professional.
