The website said there’d be a mini fridge and microwave, but the room had neither. I’d booked a day ahead and checked in late to a supposed non-smoking room. The covers and sheets had burn marks all over them. When I called the front desk, the man was really rude and said they wash everything together. When I asked for another room, he said none were available, even though I’d passed at least four or five open rooms. He said I could leave and come get a refund. That’s no way to treat guests, and the website was wrong too. I checked the sheets again and found hair from previous guests and stains. Had they even been washed? The toilet doesn’t refill by itself, so you have to do that yourself. I couldn’t tell if the stuff in the tub was pee or soap, but either way I was done. Spend your money elsewhere.

The rooms aren’t especially modern or nice, but the staff have been incredible. I’ve been staying here since January 15 because I hit a rough patch, and the office staff have treated me with professionalism and hospitality. They’ve been kind, nonjudgmental, and accommodating when they can be, which has made my stay easier. I’d stay here again if I needed to, and I definitely recommend it.

Red Roof Inn came through when I needed a place. It’s quiet and comfortable, and everything in the room worked as it should. The rooms were clean and neat, and the place was quiet and convenient. The staff were cool too. But the roaches are my only complaint, and it’s a huge one. I’ve lived all over and never seen a problem this bad, not even in the hood. They were on the ceilings, walls, in the tubs, and under the sink. Keep your things in the car, and if you bring luggage, put it on the rack right away or you could bring roaches home. With an infestation like this, I can’t see how the property has made any real effort to get rid of them. This place has so much potential, but whoever runs it should take more pride in the property. I can see the roach problem eventually getting it shut down.
