I felt incredibly lucky to spend a long weekend here. I arrived late, got to know Lyn and Jim, and had a chance to unwind in nature, away from the crowds, among a unique ecosystem. On a warm summer day, Robert's guitar music drifted through the charming, comfortable cottage while swallows darted and zigzagged outside, catching their food. I couldn't have asked for a better break from home, and I'm recommending it to all my friends.

We booked two nights and had a great Airbnb stay in this very quiet town. Sitting out in the backyard felt therapeutic. The house has no TV, which made it easy to put the phones away and spend time reading, playing board games, and talking with family. There are plates, pots, pans, and utensils for reheating or cooking, plus a backyard grill if you want to use it.

A couple of years ago, I brought my family back to Brandon to see relatives, and we had a blast. We spent time sledding on the hill and wandering through the woods. Staying at the Nest was so good that I'm about to book another trip and head back this winter.
