Baldknobbers Inn

The low price was a nice bonus, and I’d stay here again. It’s an older motel, but it was exceptionally clean and comfortable, and the staff I met were very friendly. Breakfast was good, too. Nothing fancy, just good food.

The room was a little dated, though clean and tidy, and the staff were very friendly. We were at the baldknobbers for a little getaway, and the hot water came through fast, which matters to me. The one problem came around midnight, when there were two kids in a car that wasn’t supposed to be there. We couldn’t get the front office to answer, so there was no security when we needed it. Even so, my wife and I would stay again.

The place feels like a hometown operation rather than a big, fancy corporate hotel. It’s low end and outdated, but clean and orderly. Our heater wasn’t working, and when I called the front desk, I found the phone didn’t work either. The staff member sent maintenance up within minutes. He was polite and helpful, and replaced the heater promptly. Everyone we dealt with was very friendly and helpful.

We got a discount on our show tickets by booking them there, and the price was reasonable. The room had a king bed, couch, hair dryer, ironing board and iron, mini fridge, and microwave. I liked having pillows in different sizes. The towels were soft, thick, and absorbent, and the complimentary breakfast had a good selection.
