Cabins at Green Mountain

Our cabin looked out over the creek and waterfall, which the kids loved. With two bedrooms and a huge deck, it gave our family of four the extra space we need when traveling. The property is beautiful and a fantastic value for the price. It's near the start of the strip by the butterfly palace, so entertainment and restaurants are easy to reach. We visit Branson almost every year and plan to stay here from now on.

Cabin 39 was amazing, and the staff there were really friendly. Since we arrived after hours, we checked in at the club house, and the process was quick and smooth. They gave us helpful advice about getting around Branson during the busy parts of the day and suggested good places to eat. The cabin interior was great, and the screened porch was a nice extra. The roads can be a bit tricky with a full-size truck, but it was manageable.

The cabin was lovely and clean when we arrived, everything seemed in order, and check-in was easy. The front desk woman was very nice and helpful. I wasn't keen on finding it decorated for Christmas already in October. The cabins are close together, though it was quiet over the weekend. The real issue was the downstairs toilet leaking underneath whenever it was flushed. The bedroom light was out too. I called the front desk in the morning, and maintenance came within an hour. They fixed the light, but the toilet still leaked, just less. We had to use the upstairs bathroom for the rest of our stay. I reported the ongoing leak at checkout so it could be properly fixed. I know things break, but I was unhappy it wasn't repaired correctly the first time. We stepped in toilet water in our socks twice. Gross!

We went at Christmas, and it was a lovely time to get away. The cabins felt secluded even though we were in the middle of Branson, and it didn't feel crowded. They're gorgeous, with inviting spaces, well-stocked cooking utensils, and a porch we really enjoyed. There was even an open-air hot tub running in December, a nice treat. We hardly saw staff, which was fine, though the late-arrival directions could be clearer. Otherwise, everything went smoothly.
