Club Wyndham Mountain Vista

We usually stay at the Meadows, so this was our first time at Monte Vista, and we were glad to switch, especially without the kids this time, thanks G-MA & G-Pa. It's easier to get in and out here, without the check-in office, member club, pools, parks, mini golf, and sports courts bringing all the hustle and bustle. It's just across the street, yet under 5 minutes from the strip, Walmart, and grocery store. We'll request this side more often. The 2 bed 2 bed condo is huge, around 1200 sq ft, with a really nice layout. The open kitchen has a giant bar that flows into the living room, and a whole wall of glass at the back brings in sunshine and views of the Branson skyline by day and strip lights at night. The main bedroom has a king bed and a huge bathroom. The spa tub fits both my wife and me, which isn't easy since I'm 6'8" and 390lbs and she's 5'10". There's a makeup mirror that extends from the wall, a lit vanity mirror, and a separate room for the large shower, toilet, and sink. The other bedroom has two full beds and its own bathroom with double sink vanity, toilet, and tub shower combo. We want to redo our house to look like this. If you want a home away from home, look at the Whyndam Monte Vista Condos.

We were blown away by how large the apartment was for a one bedroom, along with the furniture quality, how clean everything was, and how kind the concierge and staff were. It really isn't a hotel in feel. This place is amazing, and we'll be back :-) Just be aware that check-in is at 110 Willow Bend, while the resort itself is at 141 Champagne Blvd.

The only real downside was check-in. You have to speak with a salesperson to get pool wristbands, and they wouldn't accept no when asking us to attend a sales pitch. The rooms were spacious and had good amenities, and there were lots of fun activities across both Mountain Vista and Meadows. Staff were fun and the grounds were well kept. We'll go back!

The jets in our room's tub didn't work, and the accessibility modifications the property promised weren't provided. The property keeps blaming the EZ Traveltrips contract and won't take responsibility. EZ Traveltrips already said we couldn't cancel and that they had no control over our experience. So nobody is responsible, I guess, for the misleading information, the nonfunctional units, or the extra cleaning fee. Stay away!
