Grand Oaks

We booked two nights, but the room was so gross we left after barely getting through the first. The bathroom had black mold, there were stains on the bedding, and the room smelled like cat urine. We were on the first floor of the second building. The first building seemed nicer, though we didn't stay there. The front desk staff were great, and the cleaners were clearly doing their best, but the second building was disgusting.

David at the front desk went above and beyond to make sure our stay was great. My wife and I visited a couple of weeks ago, and we were impressed. The suite had a huge jacuzzi tub and a comfortable bed. We'll definitely be back!

For the price, it's a decent, standard hotel with good service. Breakfast was tasty and small, but it did the job. I'd suggest adding more lights around the pool.

The room didn't have a toilet paper holder in the bathroom. The roll was balanced between the two arms where the holder should've been, so it fell to the floor whenever we pulled paper. At breakfast Saturday morning, they were out of 2% white milk cartons. We also didn't get the room we had reserved online. My confirmation showed a king bed in building 2, but the front desk gave us two queen beds in building 1. When I called to complain, a man said they were sold out and couldn't move us. He claimed the computer showed we had booked two queens on Expedia, but we hadn't booked through Expedia. We later found out our room had been given to another member of our family.
