Great Rock Resort at Branson

We really liked that the location wasn't on the busy strip but still wasn't far away. The room was spacious, very clean, and well stocked. Check-in through checkout went smoothly, and my family and I will definitely book here again for future Branson visits.

The room was far better equipped than we expected and felt absolutely perfect. The property is set back just enough from the attractions, without being too far away. Before we arrived, a host contacted me to explain that check-in was at their other property and that the fireplace was only decorative. She kept me well informed from booking through checkout. I was really impressed and would definitely return.

Elizabeth was friendly, efficient, and helpful, and the roomy two-bedroom layout was nice. The elevators were convenient. A few things could've been better: the hot water wasn't very hot, the fireplace didn't work and there was no notice about it, and cold air came through windows that weren't locked tight. An extra living-room chair would've helped, and the master bathroom sink had no stopper. Still, it was clean and welcoming.

The unit was dirty in a lot of places. There was sticky stuff on the kitchen tile collecting lint, spots on the bathroom floor that looked unmopped, sticky tea rings on the living-room side tables, handprints on the coffee table, and smudges and fingerprints all over the sliding doors. It didn't seem to have had a proper deep clean or even a good turnover cleaning. The mattresses were also awful, with springs poking through, so resting was difficult. And advertising a fireplace without saying clearly that it doesn't work feels misleading. This stay fell short on basic cleanliness, comfort, and honest information. I wouldn't book with this company again or recommend it to friends or family.
