OYO Hotel Windmill Branson

OYO Hotel’s customer service and lack of response left me deeply disappointed. There was no hotel at the location OYO Hotel provided, which wasted time, caused major inconvenience, and disrupted my travel plans. I had to scramble to find another place to stay, adding expenses and throwing off my itinerary. I tried contacting customer support through several channels, including phone calls, but got absolutely no response. I expected timely help and communication to address the problem, and instead my concerns were ignored. This was frustrating and unprofessional, and it reflects a lack of regard for customer satisfaction. I urge OYO Hotel to fix the location information and make sure its support team responds to customers promptly. I expected better accountability and service from a reputed hotel chain.

I should’ve paid attention to the reviews. There were curly black hairs all over the sheets, and it looked like the bedding had been flipped inside out and put back on without being cleaned. The mildew smell was intense, there was trash under the beds, and the floor hadn’t been vacuumed. Both mattresses were collapsed. Most rooms on the lowest level are broken into and destroyed. Never again. I wish I could get a refund.

The breakfast was good, and the breakfast lady and maintenance staff were extremely nice. The rest of the place needs help immediately. It’s outdated and dirty, with bugs crawling on the walls in our rooms. Housekeeping went through my daughter’s bags and stole her makeup, and they missed cleaning our room one day. There were dirty tissues behind the nightstand and pill packets on the floor when we checked in, still there four days later when we left. The owner said he’d just taken over, but this place is horrible. When I asked the front desk for washcloths, they offered me a pool towel. I could go on, but I think you get the point.

The rooms were disgusting, and bugs showed up in both the first and second rooms we stayed in. The bathroom ceiling had mold or water damage, and none of the electronics or appliances worked, so all our food was ruined. There was a gap in the wall beside the AC unit, which kept the room from cooling down and let us see the balcony all night. We had only two bath towels for the whole stay and had to use hand towels most of the time. Staff were less than helpful and didn’t return calls or emails to fix what went wrong. It was absolutely horrible. We’ll never go back.
