Homestead Suites

We’ve stayed here twice and would love to come back. Park House at Homestead Suites gave our group of nine plenty of room, with three main-floor bedrooms with king beds and two upstairs rooms with two full beds each. There were three bathrooms, a well-stocked kitchen, a huge dining table, and a family room with a TV and dartboard, so we never felt crowded. The outdoor grill and fire pit were great, and we could also use the pools in the main building. It’s a great house for a large group, close to downtown Fish Creek shops and restaurants, and an easy drive to other Door County towns and state parks. It books up quickly, so book well ahead. We found our last-minute dates by calling to ask about cancellations.

The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff are friendly and happy to help with special requests. We’ve been coming every spring for 21 years. There’s easy access to Peninsula State Park and bicycle rental, and the pool, sauna, and hot tub are immaculate and welcoming. We highly recommend it.

No breakfast is served in-house, but there’s coffee, tea, and hot chocolate. I’m not sure why FOX news is always on in places like this, but it was on every time I passed through. We enjoyed the outdoor pool and hot tub, the helpful staff, and our clean, quiet, well-appointed room. The location is convenient, with three casual dining options about a block away, downtown just down the hill, and Peninsula State Park next door. Its golf course is not far either, if that appeals to you. We enjoyed our stay and would love to return.

The pool area and rooms were both really clean, the towels were fluffy, and the bed was comfortable. The person who checked us in was so happy and kind. We really enjoyed our time here and highly recommend it.
