Hyatt Vacation Club at The Lodges at Timber Ridge, Branson

The activities were our favorite part. We did leather stamping on Sunday 12/21, and Tyler, the activity director, was amazing. He was funny, patient, informative, and so sweet. My kids loved him. He told them about the hidden elf and gave them a fun treat when they found it. Thanks so much, Tyler. You're one of a kind and made the stay feel special and unique. We stayed the week before Christmas as a family, and the beautiful rooms exceeded our expectations.

My small one-bedroom villa had lots of room and storage, almost like a small apartment. It came with a kitchenette, fridge, microwave, coffee, washer and dryer, and everything needed for cooking, including utensils and dinnerware. There was also a living room, dining table, and large TV. The hot water took a little while, and the lighting could be brighter. Housekeeping isn't daily: they refresh towels, coffee, and toiletries every two days, though you can request things as needed. There are lots of daily activities, including family-oriented ones.

We picked this place for our anniversary, looking forward to the indoor pool and hot tub, then were told at check-in that both were closed due to storm damage. We hadn't been informed by the website, text, or email, and there was no visible damage. We were extremely disappointed, though we still tried to make the most of it. The room had paper-thin walls, and the neighbors were early risers. A vacation we badly needed for relaxation turned into a frustrating stay. We won't return.

The bed was comfortable, the accommodations were spacious, and the kitchen was fully stocked, making meal prep convenient. Service and location were both good. I did have concerns about the spa tub: when I used it, black particles came out of the jets, which made me wonder if weekly inspections were being done consistently. The towel holder had also been repaired poorly, so I addressed that myself. The property was more than adequate for our vacation.
