Twelve Oaks Inn

The breakfast choices were all good, and every staff member was super friendly and helpful. Our room was clean too. We’ll definitely stay again.

We checked in for one night on August 16, 2025, and the room looked nothing like the photos we booked from. There was such a bad odor that I needed nausea medicine to stay in the room, and luckily I’d brought my own Febreeze. The bathtub had soap scum, there was a strange stain on the shower wall, and the water kept swinging from cold to scalding. The furniture was old and damaged. It was awful. At least the sheets and covers were clean.

We were out most of the time and just wanted an inexpensive place to sleep and shower. It was great value, with clean rooms, a comfortable bed, pillows that didn’t go flat, and a nice hot breakfast. The staff were sweet and helpful. Definitely not the Ritz-Carlton, but we’ll stay again.

The floors and carpet were pretty dirty, enough to leave my feet dirty. Apart from that, the bathrooms, counters, and linens were clean, the shower had good pressure, and we didn’t see any bugs. Breakfast was the standard hotel fare: scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, toast, pastries, instant oatmeal, cereal, apples, juice, and coffee. The location was great, and my daughter especially liked how comfortable the beds were.
