I loved staying here. As a girl travelling alone for the first time in a place like this, I was nervous about safety, but those worries went away when I arrived. The room felt secure, with two automatic keypad locks, and it was clean. The other guests were quiet and respectful, which was a big plus. It was just the right size and had everything I needed, though there was no shampoo or conditioner, so I'm glad I'd brought my own. The complimentary snacks were a great idea. Five stars all around.

The bed was really comfortable, and I appreciated the little fridge, strong Wi-Fi, and complimentary firewood. Still, I booked four nights and left after just one because the room smelled strongly musty. I talked with the owner, Amy, but she said there were no refunds and insisted there wasn't a problem with the room. I wish she had been more accommodating about a refund for the unused nights.

We needed a place to gather for a wedding and this was perfect. Amy handled our complicated booking with four parties of different sizes arriving at different times with ease. Caitlin and Eva did a great job at the ice cream bar, and the pub-style food truck was excellent. Amy was a pleasure to work with, and we all had a wonderful time. The rooms were clean and the beds just right.

The rooms have been updated and were very clean. The owner works on site, and when we met her it was clear she wears many hats and cares about guests having a great stay. She's taken care of a lot of details. Such a pleasant find at an affordable price. If you're around Brattleboro, consider the Inn at Kampfires.

The beds were so comfortable, and our room was clean and roomy. I loved having a soak in the tub, and the place is close to everything. A great little find for a night, highly recommend it! If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs for traffic noise. We could hear people walking upstairs from our first-floor room, but it didn't spoil our stay.
