The place and room were clean, and breakfast was included. The refrigerator and stove looked like they were from the 70s, though I didn't need to try them. At checkout this morning, I asked the front desk for a bottle of water and was rather coyly told I'd have to buy one. I'd been given complimentary water twice earlier in my stay. For nearly $200 a night, I thought they could provide a bottle when I asked.

The staff were cordial, and our room was near an exit, which made taking the pups out easy. The room also had a couch that seemed to have been peed on by many dogs, so I covered it with pee pads to avoid adding more damage. My service dogs were charged for the stay even though the policy clearly says service dogs aren't charged. I didn't get the welcome bag that's supposed to go to each guest, and on the first housekeeping visit they left my trash. The dog area had mushrooms, which are poisonous to dogs, two stacks of lumber to trip over, and an empty poop dispenser. On the first night there was no cable. The night clerk was new and didn't know what to do, and cable wasn't back until 9 AM the next day.

The pool was nice and my kid really enjoyed it. Breakfast had both Asian and American food and was good. The place was mostly clean and quiet, though some walls and furniture could use another cleaning. The appliances need updating, but they work well.

In Room 116, there was a strong chemical smell with what seemed like an animal urine odor underneath. I called the front desk, but they said no other room was available and there was absolutely nothing they could do. They shouldn't have booked the room with that urine smell. I had to sit in that awful, strong odor.
