We took photos, went straight to the front desk, and said we were not staying. We asked for a refund, but the man there looked indifferent and flat-out refused. There was no apology or accountability. The room was vile. First came a smell of old socks, mildew, and something else that didn’t seem sanitary. Then I saw pee all over the toilet, as if housekeeping hadn’t even bothered to clean it. It was shameful. I couldn’t imagine what might be on the sheets, and wouldn’t let my worst enemy sleep in that bed. I’ve stayed in budget hotels before, but this was like a hygiene horror movie. I’d warn anyone away unless they want to risk some mystery illness. It was the nastiest, least hygienic and most poorly managed hotel stay of my life. This place needs a health inspection and a reality check.

The front office employee was rude and unprofessional when I asked for my money back. I’d planned to stay one day with my family while work was being done on our home, but we left instead. As soon as we entered, the smell was nasty. The sheets looked dirty, the shower was stained, the toilet seat was broken, and the TV didn’t work. This was the most unhygienic and poorly managed hotel experience I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay here, even if they’re desperate. It needs a health inspection and better management.

We were exhausted and had to leave by 6 a.m., so we stayed despite being angry about the room. The bed’s headboard was dirty, and the sofa chair looked like it had been picked up from a trash can. When we finally lay down, the bed squeaked and cracked so badly it sounded broken, and the springs felt extremely old. We ended the night turning our frustration into a joke about what else we’d find. There was plenty to find. The carpet was filthy, as if it hadn’t been vacuumed in weeks, and my dog found crumbs inside the room and ate them. The bathroom mirror was broken, and the shower knob section had come away from the wall. The light switch was broken too, and I was told none of the switches worked, only the lamps. Outside, there were sketchy people around and the sidewalks were dirty and sticky. Do hotels get audited like restaurants? If this place did, I think it would have to close. It’s a joke.

The room didn’t seem to have been cleaned, and there was pee on the toilet seat. Walking in, I was met with a clear smell of neglect rather than anything clean or comfortable. When I told the front desk, the representative acted as if I were an inconvenience. They were rude, dismissive, and no help at all. This place doesn’t deserve your time or money. Find somewhere that takes hygiene and hospitality seriously.
