The clerks were nice, and the location was convenient. The place looked more like a Motel 6 than the picture, but that was okay. The reservation mentioned free breakfast, though I only needed a cup of coffee in the morning. The night before, I got a notification saying they were working too hard to provide it 🤷🏻♀️. Good thing I hadn't expected much. It was okay.

We stayed two nights. The room was very clean when I arrived and smelled great. I didn't see any bedbugs or spiders, and I had no bites. The motel staff were polite and efficient, and made us feel welcome. I'd go back.

We weren't told by either Park Inn or Motel 6 that the hotel had been sold to Motel 6, which was a major problem right away. Access to the 101 freeway was easy, though the area of town wasn't great. The room was clean, but the bed wasn't very comfortable. There'd been recent renovations, yet the room had no amenities besides hand soap.

Today, April 29th 2025, I didn't run into any of the problems mentioned in lower-rated reviews, like roaches, broken ACs, dirty blankets, bad food, or nasty customer service. The hotel seemed normal, and it looks like things have changed. I hope people post accurate reviews from now on. The place has definitely made a change.

The room was filthy and smelled awful, to the point that staying there was nearly unbearable. The website advertised amenities and breakfast, but neither was provided, which felt like a scam. When I raised the problems with the manager, they were rude and arrogant, and their dismissive response only made things worse instead of fixing anything. This was one of the worst hotel stays I've had. Avoid it if you value your time, money, and sanity.
