I came into town for a show, and check-in was easy. The women at the front desk were friendly, and the bed was pretty comfortable. The room was a little outdated but not too bad, and the showers got hot, which was great. Food was within walking distance. My only reason for giving four stars is that the towels had a strange smell. I couldn't pinpoint it; they weren't dirty, so maybe it was the detergent. Good stay overall, and I'd come back.

The smell of weed was so strong on our floor that our eyes and lungs burned, and now our things smell like it too. We booked a smoke free hotel, but the whole floor reeked. Other guests can do what they want, but this was unacceptable. Since it was so late when we checked in, we couldn't demand a full refund and leave for somewhere else. I called the front desk, and they said they'd look into it. In the morning I told the man at the counter, and all I got was a very fake “sorry” and the same promise to look into it. No money off the night's cost was offered. He seemed completely unbothered. I guess they care more about lodgers who don't think about other guests' welfare than people who treat others with respect. We only booked at the last minute because the reviews looked good. If I could give this hotel minus one, I would.

The staff were nice and the bed was comfortable, so it worked for a quick stop and sleep. The room needs updates, though. There were no outlets or USB ports by the bed, and paint was peeling around the tub. The bathroom didn't feel very clean.

Once you're checked in, it's a comfortable and quiet experience for a public hotel. Service is good, though check-in might take a little longer because the policies keep changing and being updated. On weekends, people can get into party mode, which we can't control. I had a great experience at microtel.

I had doubts about staying at a Microtel, but this hotel won me over from Holiday Inn express. The hotel is in the middle of restaurants and shops and close to the interstate, yet I couldn't hear anything from my room. It was a football weekend, and I expected noise, but all the guests were respectful. My stay was quiet and everything was perfect. The staff were pleasant, especially the young woman who checked me in Friday afternoon. I don't know her name, but management should find out who she is and give her a 10+. I've had my doubts about this hotel, but I'll come again. Thank you. I give it a 15 rating for years.
