Residence Inn by Marriott San Jose North/Silicon Valley

I stayed here during the Niners game and had a great time. Check-in was easy, and they gave me a room before the check-in time, so I could relax before the game. The room was clean, quiet, and spacious. My favorite amenities were the free breakfast and fitness center.

The front desk made my two-night visit especially easy. I’d asked for a room with windows facing outside, and the staff member listened, worked through the concern with me, and found a room that fit what I wanted. She was patient, kind, and professional throughout. I appreciated the warm service, and the stay at Residence Inn San Jose North/Silicon Valley was smooth and comfortable. I’d recommend it for a pleasant stay in the area.

I’m still waiting for a room, more than an hour after check-in time. I’d also requested an early check-in through chat, but was told I’d have to wait another 45 minutes. As a Titanium member, that felt ridiculous, especially since my coworker arrived before me and got a room right away. I’ve never arrived at a hotel after check-in time and found no room ready. The staff were neither empathetic nor accommodating, and this has been a horrible experience.

For two people the room was huge and super clean, and breakfast was great. At such a low price, I really couldn’t ask for much more. The only thing I’d complain about is water splashing out of the shower area.
