We stayed because it was very late and the other nearby choices weren’t good, but the room was so filthy that we slept without a blanket and left as fast as we could at 5:30 in the morning. There were stains on the couch, blood on the comforter, and someone else’s sports bra in the bathroom. The carpet was terribly dirty, and even the desk chair was too grimy to sit on. Our first room had trash on the floor and greasy fingerprints on the counter, so we asked to switch. The second was on the third floor, and the elevator was broken, which meant another climb up the stairs. Both staircases smelled disgusting enough to make us gag. The lobby and outside of the building looked decent, but the room was the grossest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in. I rarely write reviews, but people need to beware.

The low price made sense once I saw the place. The whole building smelled, and there were stains on the hallway carpet. The room carpet clearly hadn’t been vacuumed in a while, and there was public hair all along the bathroom floor edges. It hadn’t even been swept, never mind mopped. I only stayed one night, but people were roaming the halls and towels kept piling up outside doors. It made me think adult favors were easy to find there. I can only imagine what the place is like after several days. So gross.

We checked out and left instead of staying. The elevator wasn’t working, and nobody mentioned that at check-in, even though our room was on the third floor. Inside, the room had mystery stains everywhere, and we could hear all the neighbors through the walls. The hallways smelled like moldy trash, with garbage scattered around and dirty towels left throughout. It looked like housekeeping hadn’t been through in a week. I’ve stayed at plenty of Motel 6 locations and never seen one like this. Don’t waste your money.

I took off the top sheet and slept on my own blanket because I was afraid of what might be in the bed. You get what you pay for here, so please don’t go. There were so many disgusting things wrong with the place. The cleaning and maintenance staff need to be fired.
