The location is convenient, and it was quiet and peaceful. But the management company that rents out the condos for short stays doesn’t seem to bother with repairs or upgrades. The old Panasonic TV and VCR have a kind of nostalgic charm, though the unit we stayed in needs a lot of improvement.
During my summer 2023 stay at Coral Residences, I found the apartment spacious, clean, and well equipped with the appliances I needed. There was plenty of parking, and it was an easy walk to the center. I also appreciated the space for storing sports equipment, which makes it suitable for summer or winter visits. The place had a lovely atmosphere. Getting in with the electronic lock was smooth and secure, and checkout was just as easy. I’d recommend it for a comfortable, hassle-free stay.
We liked this condo enough to book the same unit two years in a row. The mountain view from it is amazing, and there’s a nice hot tub on the deck. Inside, it has a typical Colorado look, with exposed beams and southwest-style decor. The kitchen had everything we needed, and after our first grocery run we left the car in the garage for the rest of the week. It’s a convenient spot, a short walk to Main Street shops and the Quicksilver lift. The property is well maintained, and the rooms are spacious enough to be comfortable. When anything needed attention, the property management team dealt with it quickly. It isn’t luxury lodging, but it’s exactly what my family wants for a ski vacation.
Check contract lines 32-38 carefully. Even if you turn down insurance through VRBO, Summit County Mountain Resorts will slip this charge into the contract. It won’t show in the statement’s payment or insurance breakdown, but they add it to the final payment. I learned that the hard way, for $175. I’ve booked plenty of trips through VRBO and AIRBNB and never had a company pull something this shady. I hope this review saves someone else money. Karma is a thing, and I hope it catches up with people who bury charges like this in contracts.
The office staff were really helpful and nice, and my family loved having our own hot tub. It’s right on Main Street, close to everything, and I’d stay again. The rooms are nice, though they’re missing a bit of a wow factor. Our internet was a little weak, and the channel selection wasn’t great.
