Swan River Retreat

We loved it and already want to come back! The place was spotless and relaxing, with enough rooms for everyone to spread out, two laundry areas, and a walking path outside. The patio was wonderful, and the updated kitchen and open dining space made staying in an easy choice. Breckenridge is only a quick drive away for shopping and good food, but the big living room, beautiful fireplace, and views made it hard to want to leave.

We came for a winter ski trip and spent our evenings in the hot tub or around the pool table. The location was convenient, and the mountain views were fantastic. Inside, the high ceilings, big windows, wooden beams, hardwood floors, and fireplaces gave this spacious, elegant home a cozy feel. The furnishings and finishes were luxurious. Highly recommended.

We liked this home so much during our week of skiing that four of us came back in September. On that trip, we enjoyed the nearby mountain trails and the path on the property, which passes the fire pit on the way down to the river. There were also great views from the backyard deck, with its pond and fountain, and we made good use of the pool table and well-equipped gourmet kitchen. Breck and Frisco restaurants and shops were easy to reach. For skiing, it was a good base for Breck, Copper, and Keystone, all a short drive away. After days out, we appreciated the boot dryers, steam shower, hot tub, gas grill, and multimedia entertainment. The huge three-car garage made getting in and out easy even with snow falling at night. Our group of nine had a first-class stay. The spotless home had plenty of top-of-the-line amenities and felt like a luxury hotel while still offering the privacy, space, and homey feel of a vacation house. We’re already making plans for 2019.

We’d love to come back to Swan River Retreat. The house has a great view of 10 Mile Range and is just minutes from downtown Breckinridge. There’s plenty to do nearby, though it’s also easy to spend a lazy day at the house without getting bored. The home and its amenities were excellent, and it really felt like a magical place.
