We were sorry when it was time to go, and we’re already thinking about coming back. Tim and Joyce made us feel welcome, and the rooms were spotless with a really comfortable bed. The peaceful view, shaded yard, birds, and little bits of wildlife made it easy to relax. Fitzwater House is only minutes from Cuyahoga Valley National Park and a short drive from Cleveland. Breakfast, drinks, snacks, robes, slippers, and all the other amenities we could think of were provided.

The house itself is a spacious, clean, beautifully remodeled historic home, and its central location made it easy to get to Cleveland and nearby parks and reserves. Joyce and Tim were lovely hosts. They made us feel at home while still giving us plenty of privacy, and never felt intrusive. On weekends they prepared breakfast, and there were complimentary drinks to enjoy after a day of sightseeing. My family and I had a great stay, and I’d recommend Fitzwater House to people visiting the area.

We had access to the roomy living and dining areas, and could choose from three bedrooms, though there was only one reservation. The house was spotless and comfortable, with a great bed and breakfast. Joyce was accommodating and pleasant, and we enjoyed chatting with her. We went hiking in Cuyahoga Valley National Park, and the home is also an easy stop off I-80, close to other attractions. We’ll stay here again without a second thought.

The view of the park behind the house was beautiful, and my young son had fun looking around this unusual place. My family enjoyed staying here. The host was very accommodating and supplied robes, slippers, Keurig coffee, breakfast, and various little extras.

The gorgeous view was a lovely part of our two relaxing days at Fitzwater House. My husband and I found everything clean and comfortable, and Joyce was a great host. I’d highly recommend staying here.
