We wanted to see the price in person before booking on Priceline, so we walked in and asked if they had any specials. The owner said there weren’t any and they were fully booked. When we showed him Priceline’s $90 price and said we’d book there, he again said they were full. But after we walked out, while we were still in the parking lot, we refreshed the page and saw rooms available at $186. It looked like he waited until we left to raise the price.

The sheets were stained, the doorways had mold, and roaches showed up while we were eating. We needed to stay longer because of the location, but the female manager wouldn’t accommodate us and charged daily check-in fees just to extend our stay in the same room. Pathetic customer service. I’ll never spend money there again.

I asked for a non-smoking room, but as soon as I walked in, the smoke hit me, and the sheets were stained. The next room they offered also had stained sheets, with hair all over them. There was a kitchenette but no dishes or pots to use. I tried to cancel through Hotwire, but the hotel refused. Don’t stay here.

They called the second room non-smoking, but it smelled like smoke. When I went to ask about switching sides, the woman said they don’t take reservations and are first come, first served. That’s hard to square with my reservation. They’d overbooked single-bed rooms “because it’s Valentine’s day,” so they put me on the other side, which had no kitchenette, and tried to make up for it by talking up the extra space. The guy said he’d give me this hotel for my second night, but I reviewed that second hotel too, and it was nasty and moldy. I explained that, as a woman staying alone, I felt safer on the first side because you needed a key to get into the hotel rooms. They said they could only charge me extra for a double bed, even though it was their fault I couldn’t get a single on that side. What’s the point of a reservation if it doesn’t reserve anything? Poor management and customer service. I won’t stay here again.
