The room was clean and comfortable, and the woman at the front desk was very nice. I’m a rewards member, so the discount was a plus. Room 110 needs weather stripping, though. I could see light around the sides of the door, and even with a towel at the bottom, cold air kept coming in. It has three locks, so I felt safe. The ice machine near my room was out of order, and I had to walk all the way to the one up front. There’s a good BBQ place just up the street.

I used to enjoy staying here a few years ago. The staff were great, it was very clean, and breakfast was good. Since the ownership changed, the place has been allowed to run down badly. The internet barely works, the furniture is damaged, and the bathtub was rusty and dirty. The whole standard has dropped a lot. It’s not worth the money anymore.

I’ve stayed here several times a year, and it’s always been a good experience. When I was working in Carrollton recently, I even drove an extra 30 minutes to stay here. The rooms are consistently clean, the price is great, and all the staff are friendly. I’ve never had a problem.

We were stuck here because our only other choice was sleeping in the car. Both rooms we got were dirty, the staff weren’t helpful, and the sheets were stained and torn. There were dirty walls, a used washcloth left in the shower, and alcohol from the previous guest in the fridge. The breakfast bar was missing most things until our last morning. When Expedia tried to help us get a refund because the condition was so dirty and inaccurate, the manager lied and said they’d been there all weekend. I’d give this place zero stars if I could. Stay away if you can.
