The breakfast downstairs at Brenham Grill was a highlight. It comes with the room, and you order from the regular menu rather than having a typical hotel breakfast. There’s also a small guest room with coffee, tea, soft drinks, and Blue Bell ice cream, since the rooms themselves don’t have coffee makers, microwaves, or refrigerators. We stayed in the Louisville Room (208), which has furnishings that suit its historic feel. The building is beautifully preserved, and you can feel its history as soon as you walk in. It’s an old place with some imperfections, but they didn’t take away from our delightful stay. The Inn was recently sold, and I spoke with one of the new owners at checkout. I hope good things are ahead for the ASI. We had a wonderful time at the Ant Street Inn in Brenham, Texas, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a special place to stay in Brenham.

Our daughter’s wedding was held at Ant Street Inn this past weekend. The ceremony took place in the gardens behind the building, with the reception in the indoor ballroom. We booked rooms for both sides of the family, and everyone had a comfortable stay. Each room has its own decor. It’s a magnificent bed and breakfast, and I highly recommend it.

I’d come back. The breakfast was great, and upstairs they have free water, coffee, tea, soda, ice, and ice cream. It was handy being able to walk to a few bars and catch up with friends.

Books and DVDs are available to borrow, and the front desk staff were friendly and helpful with maps and suggestions. The on-site restaurant serves complimentary breakfast for guests, with lunch and dinner available to buy. There’s also free parking just off the main street. This lovely boutique hotel is right in downtown Brenham. The private rooms and shared spaces are comfortably furnished with antiques and thoughtful amenities.

The Ant Street Inn is right in the middle of town, close to so much, including the Round Top Antiques show. I love staying here. The rooms are nice and big, and there’s a free coffee bar.
