The upstairs apartment was quiet, comfortable, and very affordable. Susan took care of the four adults in our group so thoughtfully: she left breakfast food, made sure there was plenty of fruit, and asked each of us what we wanted in our coffee. The fridge even had half and half and almond milk. Well done!

Susan, the proprietor, did everything she could to make us comfortable, and we had the whole downstairs floor to ourselves. The old house has lovely decorations, plus a modern kitchen and bathrooms. We could choose between beds from soft to firm. It was a great break from the bustle of Houston. Brenham has plenty of interesting spots, restaurants, and old architecture to check out. Blue Bell Ice Cream’s home is only 1.5 miles away.
