Hotel Pensacola

The bed was comfortable, the A/C worked, and I didn’t see any bed bugs. That’s about all I can say in the hotel’s favor. We won’t stay here again, even if they paid us. My husband got badly scammed by an online booking company, so be careful what you click. Still, I tried to give the place a chance. The first room smelled strongly of weed and heavy fragrance spray, which gave me an instant headache and made me gag. My husband spoke to the woman downstairs, and she gave us another room. It was less offensive, but still far too perfumed. If you have a sensitive nose, this hotel is not for you. Then I went to use the bathroom and found there was no toilet paper or holder. Who builds a hotel without a toilet paper holder? If we’d had a refundable rental, we would have canceled and gone elsewhere. And despite the name, Pensacola is about as far from Pensacola as you can get while still using the name. It’s actually Brent, FL, in what people call “car city.” Maybe it’s a good place if you’re here to test-drive cars.

Affordable and clean, with easy access to restaurants, shops, and the interstate. I stayed a day or longer and found the bed comfortable and the bathroom clean, with toiletries and fresh towels. The TV remote was filthy, though, so I left it alone.

The room was absolutely stunning, and the staff were so polite and helpful. We’re really glad we booked here. We’ll come back and recommend it, 100 out of 10.

The room smelled like a lot of pets had been there, and there was hair all over the bathroom sink. I didn’t take pictures because I was rushing to get ready for a Boosie concert. After my husband and I came back, we tried to relax in the jacuzzi, but the stopper and water were faulty. It took an hour to fill, so we gave up. We wasted money on that room and should have booked a regular one. I’ve stayed at this location often with my husband and never had trouble until these last couple of visits. This stay was awful, and the room stank. At check-in, the receptionist saw me waiting but kept talking with a guest lounging in the lobby for about ten minutes before helping me.
