Springhill Suites Nashville Brentwood

Manager Gabriel said he’d call Animal Services because we left our dogs in portable cages while I went to a doctor’s appointment. This hotel says it allows pets, but it didn’t feel pet-friendly at all. We’d told housekeeping before we left that we didn’t need service after just one night, yet someone came into our room while we were out. Gabriel couldn’t give me a valid reason when I asked why. He then said pets could never be left unattended in a room under any circumstances. We would have followed that rule if it had been explained at check-in. No pet policy was given, even though our Booking reservation said it would be explained on arrival. Gabriel was extremely rude and unprofessional. He kept interrupting me and held his hand up in my face to stop me talking. We were told that if we left the room, the dogs had to come everywhere with us, including the pool, gym, and dining areas, and could never be alone at all. I’ve never heard of such an unrealistic hotel rule. There wasn’t even a designated pet relief area. He also claimed our dogs barked all night, which is completely inaccurate since we were all asleep around 11 p.m. He ignored a serious safety issue too: another guest’s large dog charged into our room after our small Yorkiepoo. The owner couldn’t control it, and we only prevented an attack by forcing the door shut while the dog was halfway inside. Whoever entered our room frightened our dogs so badly that they released a strong defensive odor from fear and stress. The rest of the stay was disappointing too. There was no coffee during the day or evening, and breakfast was honestly terrible. The waffle mix ran out, and instead of replacing it, the attendant added water to the nearly empty bottle, shook it, and handed it back. The breakfast area was dirty, picked over, and poorly maintained. Even vanilla or hazelnut coffee creamer was only available if you specifically asked. If you travel with pets, avoid this hotel or be very careful.

We stayed while visiting family in downtown Nashville, and getting here from 65 was easy, just a few turns off the highway. We enjoyed our visit and would gladly return. Thanks to the staff for a great stay! The bed and pillows were comfortable, and coffee was always available. Breakfast was included, with a tasty range of fruit, protein, oatmeal, pastries, bagels, and a waffle maker. The waffle maker was open only on the weekday morning we were there. The pool was nice too, with a 3-foot shallow end, 5-foot deep end, and towels in the pool room. Parking was included in a three-deck garage. There’s a stairwell at the nearest corner at the end of the building, and you can enter from there with your keycard.

Our plan was to spend the weekend here after getting married today, 4/10/2026. The day before check-in, my fiancé’s car broke down on the interstate, completely unexpectedly. I’m thankful they let me cancel the rooms without a fee so at least that money can go toward fixing his car. God bless, and thank you!

We loved the pool for the kids and the parking garage, and the rooms were spacious, nicely laid out, and had comfortable beds. The location also made it easy to get to shopping, food, and the interstate. We’d stay here again!
