Our cabin had a treehouse feel, a forest view, and a lovely wooden deck where we could sit and enjoy the surroundings. The bed was as comfortable as one at a high-end resort, and the place had all the modern conveniences, including a fully equipped kitchen plus a washer and dryer in the room. Pilot Cove sits in Pisgah National Forest, with countless hiking trails nearby, yet it’s only 3 miles from downtown Brevard. We found great dinner spots there, including Sora Japanese, The Bohemian, and Quixote, and enjoyed breakfast and lunch at Pisgah Bakehouse and Blue Ridge Bakery. We’d happily stay again and again.

Our dogs had a great time, and we enjoyed the many trails nearby for biking and hiking. The cabin was clean and cozy, and our stay was peaceful. It felt secluded even though shops and restaurants were just down the hill. The only downside was finding a very large dog mess in front of our cabin when we arrived. That reflects on some people, though, not the management. We’ll come back.

We had a great view from secluded Cabin 231, and Brevard is conveniently close. Oscar blues and other breweries are within reach, with hiking and fly fishing less than a mile away. Five stars, highly recommend. We’ll be back soon.

We had the best few days at pilot cove with our dog just before Christmas. The cabin was clean, beautiful, and well stocked, and the Wi-Fi worked perfectly. There are countless hikes just down the hill, and Walmart is literally right down the road. If you want that feeling of being in the woods without actually being in the woods, this is the place.

The deck was great, and the place was very clean. I also appreciated the way privacy was considered while keeping the views. The one thing that could be improved is lighting on the steps at night. Getting from the car to the front door felt iffy.
