Aloft by Marriott Frisco

The hotel was nice and clean, but I can't give it more than one star. Our room was the unlucky one with a broken air conditioner. I raised it early and was told someone would come fix it; someone did visit while we were at dinner, but it still wasn't working. I went downstairs for a fan. The front desk woman said she'd looked for one, but couldn't find one. It seems strange for a hotel not to have a fan in case this happens. They said the hotel was full and couldn't move us. I'd save my money and pick one of the many other hotels nearby.

By the time we finally got to a new room, it was nearly 1 a.m. My daughters and I slept fully dressed because we still didn't feel comfortable there. Customer service later offered only a 15% credit because we accepted the replacement room. Given what happened in both rooms and the disruption to my family, that felt completely inadequate. They also wanted photos of the insects, even though I'd explained that in the moment my focus was getting my daughters and our belongings out safely, not staying to document roaches. We checked into Aloft Frisco, Texas on May 22, 2026, after a graduation event. Close to midnight, one of my daughters spotted a roach crawling on the toilet tissue. As we unpacked, we found hair on the bed and what looked like another dead roach in the room. I immediately gathered my daughters and our things and went downstairs to ask for another room. I was worried about protecting them and not carrying insects home. I left in a hurry, so I didn't take photos of the roaches. The second room also had cleanliness problems that I didn't fully notice until morning, including stains on the comforter and an generally unclean appearance. I'm a Marriott Silver Elite member and travel weekly for work, and had planned to keep building status. I also have Diamond status with Hilton, so I know occasional issues happen. This was unacceptable and has made me reconsider my Marriott loyalty. I've lost confidence in this property's cleanliness and customer service. I hope management takes this seriously and reviews its housekeeping and sanitation practices.

Ms. Dallffrs greeted us with such a sweet, welcoming manner after a very long day. That was when I knew we'd picked a fabulous place. The rooms are lovely, and I'm really pleased with our stay.

On a Thanksgiving road trip around the greater DFW area, my partner and I stayed here for two nights. The staff were incredibly friendly, and our clean king room had complimentary wall-mounted Drybar body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and soap. The industrial feel wasn't quite our style, but we still slept really well. The lobby bar was a lovely way to finish the day.
