The room was okay overall, but I'd only pay $40 for a stay here. The towels were clean and fluffy, and everything else seemed clean too, though there was stuff on the floor at check-in and the bed had no fitted sheet. Room 15 had more than six people packed in and they were loud until 10 at night. The people in room 17 were kind enough to leave us space to get out of the parking spot in front of our room. The front desk receptionist was really nice. There aren't many good food choices nearby. It was warm when we arrived because the AC hadn't been running, and having to set it on a timer seemed odd. The outlets were scarce and took ages to charge our things. You can't use the ice machine to fill an ice chest, the fridge is half the size of a dorm fridge, and there's no in-room microwave, only a shared one. All the rooms have showers and tiny bathrooms, no tubs.

We still have a charge on our card for a stay we couldn't use because we couldn't check in. There was a sign saying the office was closed until 2:30. We returned after that time, tried calling, and got no answer. Another customer said nobody was there at noon either. I've asked for a refund several times and was told they'd return the money to my card and call me back, but neither happened. I'm not happy.

The location worked perfectly for nearby nature activities. Rooms were very clean and laid out nicely, staff were friendly, and it was good value. The shower was hot, towels were clean, AC worked, and the place was well kept.

There are restaurants and shops within walking distance, and I stayed for one night. For a budget place, I thought it was great. The courtyard was cute and nicely maintained, and the inside was clean and decent. My only real nitpick was how tiny the TV was. Parking is limited, about one car per room in practice, though that's not an official rule. It didn't affect me since I had just one car, but it's something to keep in mind.

The room was spotless and cozy, and thankfully the parking was roomy enough for our big truck. We never got the front receptionist's name, but she was so kind and welcoming. My husband and I are really grateful she let us in for the night even though her shift had already ended. A big thank you to her.
