TownePlace Suites Bridgeport Clarksburg

After about two years of staying here on and off for work, I can say they offer top-of-the-line accommodations for the Bridgeport/Clarksburg Area. It's also somewhere I'd choose for a personal stay, not just work. One of my top three places in my 10 years in the Oil and Gas Industry.

I've never left a review before, but after last weekend's stay, we won't return. I used to stop here often because it fit my routes, but over the years the place seems to have taken a hard nosedive. Parking can be impossible to find, and they charge for it. There were insects crawling around, the washers and dryers were broken, and the Wi-Fi was spotty and unsecured. Housekeeping doesn't clean, and the woman setting up breakfast gives guests dirty looks that feel unnecessary for what you pay. We started going to McDonalds next door instead. The manager doesn't seem to care much and comes across as passive aggressive. I've heard the way she talks to people, and then talks about them after they leave, along with the breakfast lady. I'll look for better reviews before considering a return. It's sad what this place has become.

I spent a week here recovering from surgery and had a fantastic experience. The two bedroom suite was spacious, the front desk receptionists were kind and accommodating, and the hotel is fairly close to shopping and the WVU hospital. Thank you!

Everything was full and we really needed a room. A young man named Matt got us set up so we could sleep, and the breakfast bar was great. We hit the road rested and ready. Matt deserves a raise.
