I was disappointed when I arrived to find that my room didn’t have the soak tub it had specifically been advertised with. The front desk said they couldn’t help because I’d booked through a third party and told me to contact Amex Concierge. Amex later confirmed the room was supposed to include it, so it wasn’t a misunderstanding. The hotel offered only 2,000 Marriott Bonvoy points, which felt like a slap in the face. I also paid $30 a day for parking, and no one greeted me when I arrived, though other guests were greeted. For a Westin, I expected much better accuracy, service, and accountability.

As an event planner, I was impressed by the venue walkthrough with Teri. She showed us lots of options, came up with great ideas we hadn’t considered, and was happy to work with us. She took her time and gave us a beautiful gift, too. My client chose this hotel after our visit. Teri is awesome!

Happiness at the front desk is incredible and super helpful. Still, a hotel should be able to answer its phones. I spent 45 minutes trying to confirm whether a room I’d booked for a client was paid for. The reservations staff just bounced my call back and forth, and the day shift front desk never picked up. Now I have to go into this blind. Thanks for nothing!

I stopped by the Starbucks upstairs and Ms. Porter and the staff treated me so well. We had a great conversation that made my day, and my drink was really good too.

I stayed at the Westin in 2024 and had a very nice visit, but this review is about the service I received in Jan 2026. A third-party event that was supposed to take place at the hotel ran into an issue, so I decided not to make the trip to Houston. I called the front desk and they quickly handled my reservation. Jennifer and Alex were professional and empathetic. Between their help and my earlier stay, I highly recommend the hotel.
